Adela in Tech
Data Scientist & AI Software Engineer
With strong background in pure mathematics, applied science and software engineering, I help companies to structure their data and develop AI models. I have experience in both computer vision and NLP projects.
Recently, I’ve been working on Large Languages Models projects for couple of different clients.
Diversity & Equity Advocate
Feeling alone in my journey, I decided to take a leap to inspire and support women in tech. That’s why I joined a nonprofit organization Czechitas that helps women enter and thrive in the tech industry.
I have also collaborated with DigiFemme. Since I’ve been experimenting with AI a lot, I created a webinar to support small business owners to use AI tools in order to promote their businesses, and get more customers in shorter period of time.
Since I need female role models in my field, I am part of the Femme Palette community and participate in their mentoring program.
Sociable Programmer
I enjoy connecting with other professionals in the field of data, AI and tech in general. Getting inspired and educated by the work of other tech enthusiats forms a big part for my professional growth.
I’ve been going to events like Data Mesh, PyData, PyVo, DigiFest and Data Punkers. Regarding women in tech events I recommend Femme Palette conferences, or Czechitas and DIGIFEMME events.
Math Geek
I’ve been obssesed with maths since my childhood.
I’ve been always finding joy in solving geometric problems and imagining my own visual world. In elementary school, this passion led me to success, and by the time I finished, I had won a couple of math competitions.
Throughout my school years, I participated in mathematical Olympiads, math correspondence seminars, and attended international math camps such as Maths Beyond Limits, Modern Mathematics Summer School, and Meet IT. These experiences deepened my interest for math and helped me to connect with like-minded people.
Prime numbers, in particular, have always fascinated me. To be honest, I think it’s cool to be a bit weird. Maybe some people don’t appreciate it, but you quickly and early learn that it doesn’t matter anyway.
Attending these wonderful events and meeting inspiring people led me to study mathematics at Charles University in Prague, where my new chapter began.
Content Creator
On my LinkedIn profile, I create content mainly to empower women and boost their confidence in pursuing tech careers.
I’ve been a creator on social media for more than ten years, and I strive to use that experience for good to inspire people. I talk about topics in tech that interest me.
I express my thoughts as authentically as I can, believing that it helps women learn how to overcome their fear of the tech industry.
Acrobat and Coach
Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about acrobatic sports. I have practiced artistic gymnastics from a young age, which has shaped my one-percent mindset and discipline. I consistently push myself to work harder and strive for improvement. I’m not satisfied with mediocre results.
I actively participated in the Czech Gymnastics Championship every year from 2008 to 2014. Although I concluded my professional competitive career at the end of high school, my passion for gymnastics endured, driving me to persist with regular training. I became a certified Gymnastics coach.
My interest in new circus led me to handbalancing, aerial hoop, and contemporary dance. Recently, I consider myself an artist, acrobat, and performer. I’ve built my skills over my whole lifetime.
Graphic Designer
Since I’m obsessed with creating and designing, I decided to draw my custom logo. It’s a provisional logo for my alterego Adela in Tech: a girl with long hair thinking of neural networks. Sounds good.
